Yianna Bouyioukou & Marija Volkman

Yianna Bouyioukou & Marija Volkman

Marija Volkman (left) is an architect with wide-ranging international experience and a successful career on two continents. Originally from Belgrade, Serbia – whose interesting architectural scene unfortunately collapsed before she was born – Marija studied in Belgrade and in Prague, Czech Republic where she gained her Masters degree. She has been a project manager on a wide range of residential and commercial projects in both Eastern Europe and the United States, and was a co-founder of the ARK studio in Prague. In addition to her architectural degrees and LEED certification Marija is fluent in nearly half a dozen languages. Yianna Bouyioukou (right), who comes to our shores from Greece, is a graduate of two of the most prestigious architecture schools on the West Coast—UCLA and SciArc. She is a LEED certified architect who has practiced for nearly a decade with a select few architectural studios in Los Angeles. In addition to her many architectural accomplishments, Yianna is also a highly regarded web designer. Outside of architecture, the tireless and eternally curious Yianna has been the co-publisher of One Way Magazine, a music publication; she is also an avid book collector and reader. Marija and Yianna, with their years of experience and fresh perspectives in design and architecture, are ready to help with your next project... and help you refresh the world while you do it.
